A Long Tradition of Farm Weddings
Padgett’s farm is a place of family and realized dreams. Thirty years ago Leslie--who came from a textile mill town--made his dream of owning a farm a reality when he and Judy, his lovely wife of now 60 years, purchased 610 acres of God’s country in Waynesboro, Georgia.
Traci, their youngest daughter, knew that the farm meant family. She wed the love of her life, Fred, over 25 years ago. Their wedding was the first to occur on Padgett’s Farm next to the picturesque pond.
Bobby--Leslie and Judy’s son--continued the tradition by welcoming his bride, Lisa, into the family on the very same farm not long after Traci and Fred. This legacy and family tradition continues as the farm is a special place where dreams of brides and grooms materialize as they become a family on this incredible farm.
Three years ago, the Padgett family decided to open the gates of the best kept secret in the area for couples in search of the ideal location to tie the knot. The open fields, breathtaking lake surrounded by large oaks and pines, and 3600 sq. ft. barn are waiting to be a part of your story just like its founding family's.
